About two years ago we had a Neighborhood Association Meeting and TX DOT officials were there to discuss this TX DOT plan which would close the Bridge across McCullough over 410.During this meeting I loudly proclaimed at least three times that I was 100% against this and there were not many there that expressed opposition to the plan. Also there was one person there --a Crownhill Park resident who was presented as being a liason between the Neighborhood and TX DOT--but if I recall --this liason actually worked at TX DOT--so this is like putting the fox in charge of protecting the hen house. I am still 100% against the plan and closing off traffic across the McCullough bridge--but judging from the recent election and the signs in the neighborhood--most people are for more government control--not less..
