I'm against the changes proposed by TX Dot to close the McCullough bridge over loop 410. If the change is due to large number of accidents/deaths, it does not make sense. If the flow of traffic is bottlenecks then accidents should be very minor and drivers should be cited for cell phone use or not paying attention. There should be not deaths in bottle necks, it be interesting to know what time did accidents involving deaths occur.
If McCullogh bridge is closed then the part of the street leading into Crownhill Park at the very least should become a one-way street only leading out to avoid all the hotel traffic from coming in.
These changes will create a safety issue for this quiet neighborhood increase in crime and safety for our children.
More research should be done, WE as a neighborhood are opposed to the changes proposed.
